New Native Photography, 2011
Wir freuen uns, gemeinsam mit der Southwestern Association for Indian Arts und dem zum neunten Mal stattfindenden “Indian Market”, neue Arbeiten nordamerikanischer indianischer Künstler präsentieren zu dürfen. Der Ausstellung ging ein Wettbewerb voraus, der von den Künstlern und Pädagogen Larry McNeil und Hulleah J.Tsinhnahjinnie sowie der Kuratorin für Fotografie am New Mexico Museum of Art Katherine Ware juriert wurde.Die ausgestellten Arbeiten zeugen von enormer Vorstellungskraft und Können und sind nur ein kleiner Hinweis auf das Talent aller Teilnehmer. We are delighted to present this showcase of new work by native american artists, in conjunction with the southwestern organisation for indian arts during its ninetieth anual Indian Market. This juried Exhibition was selected by distinguished artists and educators as Larry Mc Neil and HulleahJ.Tsinhnahjinnie along with the museums curator of photography Katerine Ware. The tremendous breadth of imagination and skill on view here gives just a hint of the participants’ talent and we thank all the artists (Museum of Art, New Mexico)
